You often see Dubai and The Maldives advertised in the Sunday papers as a classic “multicentre holidays” holiday by mainstream holiday companies. Both the destinations are frequently bundled together because of the reason that Emirates operate a most of the flights to the Maldives and also happen to fly via Dubai. Recently, I took a holiday in the Maldives, with a toddler in tow and decided a stopover would make the trip more relaxed and comfortable; we decided to stop in Dubai because the cheapest flights were with Emirates. This left me double minded with the question of whether these two destinations make a good combination or should it be only one that Experience Travel offer to its customers. With a history of British governance, Dubai and the Maldives are strictly Islamic.
